+ Concerning Desertion +

(Deuteronomy 4:31) Because the LORD your God is a merciful God, he will neither abandon you nor destroy you; he will not forget the covenant with your ancestors that he swore to them.

(Deuteronomy 31:6) Be strong and bold; have no fear or dread of them, because it is the LORD your God who goes with you; he will not fail you or forsake you.

(I Samuel 12:22) For the LORD will not cast away his people, for his great name's sake, because it has pleased the LORD to make you a people for himself.

(Psalms 9:10) And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.

(Psalms 27:10) If my father and my mother forsake me, the LORD will take me up.

(Psalms 37:25) I have been young, and now am old, yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.

(Psalms 94:14; 15) 14 For the LORD will not forsake his people; he will not abandon his heritage. 15 For justice will return to the righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it.

(Isaiah 41:17) When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the LORD will answer them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

(Isaiah 49:15; 16) 15 Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. 16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.

(Isaiah 62:4) You shall no more be termed Forsaken, and your land shall no more be termed Desolate; but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her, and your land Married; for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married.

(Matthew 28:20) and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'

(II Corinthians 4:9) Persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;

(I Peter 5:7) Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.
