+ Concerning Depression +

(Psalms 30:5) For his anger is but for a moment; his favour is for a lifetime. Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

(Psalms 34:17) When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears, and rescues them from all their troubles.

(Psalms 147:3) He heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds.

(Isaiah 40:31) But those who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

(Isaiah 41:10) do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

(Isaiah 43:2) When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

(Isaiah 61:3) To provide for those who mourn in Zion – to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint. They will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, to display his glory.

(Philippians 4:18) I have been paid in full and have more than enough; I am fully satisfied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God.

(I Peter 4:12-13) 12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that is taking place among you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice insofar as you are sharing Christ's sufferings, so that you may also be glad and shout for joy when his glory is revealed.

(I Peter 5:6-7) 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.
