(Deut 8:18) But remember the LORD your God, for it is He that gives you power to get wealth, so that he may confirm His covenant that He swore to your ancestors, as He is doing today.

(Deuteronomy 28:2-8) 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the LORD your God. 3 Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. 4 Blessed shall be the fruit of you womb, the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your livestock, both the increase of your cattle and the issue of your flock. 5 Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. 6 Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. 7 The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you; they shall come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways. 8 The LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns, and in all that you undertake; he will bless you in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.

(Deuteronomy 28:11-13) 11 The LORD will make you abound in prosperity, in the fruit of your womb, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land that the LORD swore to your ancestors to give you. 12 The LORD will open to you His rich storehouse, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all your undertakings. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow. 13 The LORD will make you the head, and not the tail; you shall be only at the top, and not at the bottom – if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I am commanding you today, by diligently observing them.

(Joshua 1:8) This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may careful to act in accordance with all that is written in it.

(Ecclesiastes 2:26) For to the one who please Him God gives wisdom, and knowledge and joy; but to the sinner he gives the work of gathering and heaping, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.

(Malachi 3:10-12) 10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and thus put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts; see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing. 11 I will rebuke the locust for you, so that it will not destroy the produce of your soil; and your wine in the field shall not be barren, says the LORD of hosts. 12 Then all nations will count you happy, for you will be a land of delight, says the LORD of hosts.

(Matthew 6:31-33) 31 Therefore do not worry, saying, "What will we eat?' or "What will we drink?' or "What will we wear?' 32 For it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

(Matthew 19:29) And everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father or mother or children or fields, for My Name's sake, will receive a hundredfold, and will inherit eternal life.

(II Corinthians 9:6-8) 6 The point is this; the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.

(Philippians 4:19) And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

(Exodus 15:26) He said, "If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will not bring upon you the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.

(Psalms 103:3) Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases.

(Psalms 107:20) He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from destruction.

(Proverbs 4:20-22) 20 My child, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Do not let them escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.

(Luke 6:19) And all in the crowd were trying to touch him, for power came out of him and healed all of them.

(Hebrews 13:8) Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

(James 5:14-15) 14 Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the
Lord: 15 The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up; and anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven.

(I Peter 2:24) He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

(III John 1:2) Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul.

+ Concerning Temptation +

(Psalms 119:11) I treasure your word in my heart, so that I may not sin against you.

(Proverbs 28:13) No one who conceals transgressions will prosper, but one who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

(Romans 6:14) For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under the law but under grace.

(I Corinthians 10:12; 13) 12 So if you think you are standing, watch out that you do not fall. 13 No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.

(Ephesians 6:10; 11; 16) 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his power. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 16 With all these, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

(Hebrews 2:18) Because he himself was tested by what he suffered, he is able to help those who are being tested.

(Hebrews 4:14-16) 14 Since, then, we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we have not an high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who in every respect has been tested as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

(James 1:2; 3; 12) 2 My brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of any kind consider it nothing but joy 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance; and let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. 12 Blessed is anyone who endures temptation; such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

(James 1:13; 14) 13 No one when tempted, should say, "I am being tempted by God'; for God cannot be tempted by evil and he himself tempts nobody. 14 But one is tempted by one's own desire, being lured and enticed by it;

(James 4:7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

(I Peter 1:6; 7) 6 In this way you rejoice even if now for a little while you have had to suffer various trials, 7 so that the genuineness of your faith – being more precious than gold that, though perishable, is tested with fire – may be found to result in praise and glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed.

(I Peter 5:8; 9) 8 Discipline yourselves, keep alert. Like a roaring lion your adversary the devil prowls around, looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in your faith, for you know that your brothers and sisters in all the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.

(II Peter 2:9) then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgement.

(I John 1:9) If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

(I John 4:4) Little children, you are from God, and have conquered them; for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

(Jude 1:24; 25) 24 Now to him that is able to keep you from falling, and to make you stand without blemish in the presence of his glory with rejoicing, 25 to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

(Deuteronomy 31:6) Be strong and bold; have no fear or dread of them, because it is the LORD your God who goes with you; he will not fail you or forsake you.

(Deuteronomy 33:27) He subdues the ancient gods, shatters the forces of old; he drove out the enemy before you, and said, "Destroy!'
(I Samuel 12:22) For the LORD will not caste away his people, for his great name's sake, because it has pleased the LORD to make you a people for himself.

(Psalms 27:10) If my father and my mother forsake me, the LORD will take me up.

(Psalms 46:1) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

(Psalms 147:3) He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.

(Isaiah 41:10) do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

(Isaiah 54:10) For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed, says the LORD who has compassion on you.

(Matthew 28:20) and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'

(John 14:1) Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.

(Romans 8:35-39) 35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, "For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep to be slaughtered. 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to-come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any thing in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(Hebrews 13:5) Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have; for he has said, "I will never leave you or forsake you.'

(I Peter 5:7) Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.

+ Concerning Marital Problems +

(Genesis 2:18) Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper as his partner.'

(Genesis 2:24) Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and clings to his wife, and they become one flesh.

(Joshua 24:15) Now if you are unwilling to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served in the region beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.

(Psalms 101:2) I will study the way that is blameless. When shall I attain it? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house.

(Proverbs 3:5-6) 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

(Proverbs 10:12) Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offences.

(Romans 13:10) Love does no wrong to a neighbour; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.

(Ephesians 4:31-32) 31 Put away from you all bitterness and wrath and anger and wrangling and slander, together with all malice: 32 And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.

(Ephesians 5:21-33) 21 Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ. 22 Wives be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife just as Christ is the head of the church, the body of which he is the Saviour. 24 just as the church is subject to Christ, so also wives ought to be, in everything to their own husbands. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 in order to make her holy by cleansing her with the washing of water by the word, 27 so as to present the church to himself in splendour, without a spot or wrinkle or anything of the kind – yes, so that she may be holy and without blemish. 28 In the same way, husbands should love their wives as they do their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hates his own body, but he nourishes and tenderly cares for it, just as Christ does for the church, 30 because we are members of his body. 31 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery, and I am applying it to Christ and the church. 33 Each of you, however, should love his wife as himself, and a wife should respect her husband.

(I Peter 1:22) Now that you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth so that you have genuine mutual love, love one another deeply from the heart.

(I Peter 3:1-11) 1 wives, in the same way, accept the authority of your husbands, so that, even if some of them do not obey the word, they may be won over without a word by their wives' conduct, 2 when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. 3 Do not adorn yourselves outwardly by braiding your hair, and by wearing gold ornaments or fine clothing; 4 rather, let your adornment be the inner self with the lasting beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God's sight. 5 It was in this way long ago that the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves by accepting the authority of their husbands. 6 thus Sarah obeyed Abraham and called him lord. You have become her daughters as long as you do what is good and never let fear alarm you. 7 husbands, in the same way, show consideration for your wives in your life together, paying honour to the woman as the weaker sex, since they too are also heirs to the gracious gift of life – so that nothing may hinder your prayers. 8 Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one of another, a tender heart, and a humble mind. 9 Do not repay evil for evil, or abuse for abuse; but on the contrary, repay with a blessing. It is for this that you were called – that you might inherit a blessing. 10 For "Those who desire life and desire to see good days, let them keep their tongues from evil and their lips from speaking deceit; 11 Let them turn away from evil and do good; let them seek peace and pursue it.

+ Concerning Dissatisfaction +

(Psalms 34:10) The young lions suffer want and hunger, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

(Psalms 37:3) Trust in the LORD, and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security.

(Psalms 63:1-5) 1 God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. 2 So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. 3 Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. 4 So I will bless you as long as I live; I will lift up my hands and call on your name. 5 My soul is satisfied as with the rich feast, and my mouth praises you with joyful lips.

(Psalms 103:1-5) 1 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits – 3 who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, 4 who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, 5 who satisfies you with good as long as you live so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

(Psalms 107:9) For he satisfies the thirsty, and the hungry he fills with good things.

(Proverbs 12:14) From the fruit of the mouth one is filled with good things, and manual labour has its reward.

(Isaiah 12:2, 3) 2 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid, for the LORD GOD is my strength and my might; he has become my salvation. 3 With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

(Isaiah 44:3) For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my spirit upon your descendants, and my blessing on your offspring.

(Isaiah 55:1) Ho, every one who thirsts, come to the waters; and you that have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

(Jeremiah 31:14 b) 14b ...and my people shall be satisfied with my bounty, says the Lord.

(Joel 2:26) You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame.

(Matthew 5:6) "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

(II Corinthians 9:8) And God is able to provide you with every blessings in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.

(Philippians 4:12, 13) 12 I know what it is to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and in all circumstances I have learned the secret of being well-fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need. 13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

+ Concerning Discouragement +

(Psalms 27:1-14) 1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When evildoers assail me to devour my flesh – my adversaries and foes – they shall stumble and fall. 3 Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war rise against me, yet I will be confident. 4 One thing I ask of the LORD, that will I seek after; to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. 5 For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will set me high on a rock. 6 Now my head is lifted up above mine enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the LORD. 7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry aloud, be gracious to me and answer me! 8 "Come,' my heart says, "Seek his face!' Your face, LORD, do I seek. 9 Do not hide your face from me. Do not turn your servant away in anger, you have been my help. Do not cast me off, do not forsake me, O God of my salvation! 10 if my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will take me up. 11 Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead to a level path because of my enemies. 12 Do give me up to the will of my adversaries, for false witnesses have arisen against me, and they are breathing out violence. 13 I believe I shall see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. 14 Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your take courage; wait for the LORD.

(Psalms 31:24) Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait on the LORD.

(Psalms 138:7) Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve me against the wrath of my enemies; you stretch out your hand, and your right hand delivers me.

(Isaiah 51:11) So the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

(John 14:1) "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.'

(John 14:27) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you, I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.

(II Corinthians 4:8-9) 8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;

(Galatians 6:9) So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.

(Philippians 1:6) I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.

(Philippians 4:6-8) 6 Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

(Hebrews 10:35-36) 35 Do not, therefore, abandon that confidence of yours; it brings a great reward. 36 For you need endurance, so when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.

(I Peter 1:6-9) 6 In this way you rejoice even if now for a little while you have had to suffer various trials, 7 so that the genuineness of your faith – being more precious than gold that, though perishable, is tested with fire – may be found to result in praise and glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and gracious joy, 9 for you are receiving the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
